FARAKH IQBAL

Farakh Iqbal is a highly skilled digital communication and public relations professional with over 5 years of experience managing digital media, public outreach, and awareness campaigns in the health sector and beyond.

He began his career as the Social Media Coordinator at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore (September 2019 – June 8, 2023), where he led content strategy, digital campaigns, and social media presence for one of Punjab's leading medical institutions.

Recognized for his expertise, he was appointed as the Focal Person for Digital Media to the Caretaker Minister for Health, Government of Punjab (Prof. Dr. Javed Akram) from January 21, 2023, to March 4, 2024, on a pro bono basis. In this role, he enhanced digital outreach, shaped public perception, and managed official social media accounts to effectively communicate the Health Department's initiatives.

Alongside these roles, Mr. Iqbal worked as a Junior Assistant at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Regional Centre Lahore, from June 2, 2023, to March 4, 2024, contributing administrative support to the institution's operations.

Continuing his public service, Mr. Iqbal was appointed on March 5, 2024, as the Focal Person for Digital Media and Personal Secretary to the current Minister for Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Government of Punjab. He supports strategic communication, digital policy execution, and public engagement.

Mr. Iqbal is known for his professionalism, strong sense of public service, and innovative approach to digital media. His work has significantly enhanced the visibility and public understanding of key health initiatives in Punjab.
